About
Founded in 2006 by Joachim Wester, Starcounter set out to revolutionize enterprise software with its in-memory database technology. Early milestones include the first commercial deployment in 2009 (version 0.9) and the launch of a stable platform in 2012 (version 1.0).
The game-changing 2013 release of version 2.0 combined a web application server and database, forming the backbone of today’s platform. Customers like Heads, Modular Management and AdFenix adopted the technology, driving real-world validation and rapid innovation.
Recognized by Gartner, Forrester, IDC and Horizon 2020 for its groundbreaking advancements, Starcounter launched version 3.0 in 2020. With the fourth-generation platform around the corner, Starcounter is set to redefine enterprise software.
